Working closely with the Responsible Person, each installation will be clearly identified prior to work commencing, including on site meeting, photographic evidence (pre, during, post), product data (including specification/manufacturer/test evidence), installer credentials and labelling.
Our BM Trada third party accredited team undertake fire stopping solutions where services such as water, gas, electrics or communications that penetrate through a building’s fire-resistant compartment lines have been disturbed.
It is vitally important to ensure that the void is appropriately sealed with a suitable fire stopping solution. Both the Building Regulations and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (RRFSO) require that the person fitting fire-stopping products is competent to do so and third party certification is the accepted means of demonstrating competency.
